Then saying plainly what that means for the business. Skills: Market sizing, Customer interviews, Segmentation, Review and social media analysis, Survey design, Competitor scans. - **Supply chain & operations**: Planning how products get to customers: which depot serves which shop, on which day, with which truck. Then checking the plan against how it is done today. Skills: Route and delivery planning, Sales territory design, Depot and store location, Stock and order processes, What-if scenarios. - **Strategy & management**: Turning research into a decision. Which market to enter, who to approach first, where to open next, and in what order to do it. Skills: Market entry plans, Go-to-market roadmaps, Location strategy, Business cases, Co-founding a product, Presenting to decision-makers. - **Marketing**: Working out what makes people buy and where the budget does the most good: when to launch, what to say and which channel to put money into. Skills: Campaign planning, Launch timing, Budget allocation, Brand and positioning, Measuring what worked. - **Digital marketing**: Ads, email, social and CRM, run day to day and measured properly. I ran paid campaigns for more than twenty clients before I moved into analytics. Skills: Paid social and search, Email and LinkedIn campaigns, Customer journeys and attribution, CRM: Salesforce, HubSpot, Dashboards: Tableau, GA4. ## Selected work - [Delivery routes for FanMilk (Danone), Ghana](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/georetail-ghana-route-optimisation/): I redesigned FanMilk's delivery planning in Ghana in three steps: which depot each shop belongs to, how often it gets a visit, and which truck goes where. Across three optimised plans, costs came out about 10% lower on average than the routes drawn by hand. - [ClayTec market entry, NL](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/claytec-market-entry/): None of the seven craftsmen I interviewed had heard of the brand, and none would buy anything that isn't stocked within about 30 km. So the plan starts with distributors and word of mouth, not ads. - [Reading demand before a launch (MSc thesis)](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/pre-launch-demand-signals/): I used an AI language model to turn Reddit posts written before a launch into three scores (how excited people are, how much they expect, how often they mention rivals) and tested whether those scores predict the reviews that come after. - [EA launches: what drives buzz and sales](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/ea-launch-media-economics/): A game's sales drop about 16% every week after launch, so the first five weeks decide it. Teasers created more than twice the buzz of trailers, and paid tweets stopped helping at around 20 a week. - [Why travellers book elsewhere](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/travel-customer-journeys/): The agency didn't have a conversion problem. Only about one customer journey in ten touched its brand at all, while more than half touched a competitor. Visibility comes first. - [What app reviews really complain about](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/2024-02-20-ecommerce-intelligence/): Simple keyword rules spotted about 1 in 10 reliability complaints in app reviews. An AI model running on my own laptop spotted 7 in 10, at about five seconds a review. ## More work - [Campaign budget planner (BSc thesis)](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/campaign-budget-optimiser/): Spend explains most of what a campaign gets in impressions (R² 0.874), and which platform you pick barely matters. So the optimiser works on budget and duration. - [Which channels earn their budget (Bunq)](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/2024-01-15-omnichannel-attribution/): A multi-touch attribution model built inside Salesforce, so spend is judged by what each channel contributes rather than by the last click. Still in progress, and the impact figures are projections. - [Customer segmentation](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/customer-segmentation-analysis-from-statistical-models-to-marketing-strategy/): Five segments from 2,240 retail customers. The most engaged group isn't the one spending the most, which points to a conversion problem rather than a reach problem. - [Salesforce tools for sales partners](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/b2b-automation-custom-salesforce-solutions-for-partner-success/): Five Salesforce features for the sales partners of Junochron, a workforce-software company: a partner dashboard, opportunity tracking, alerts and reporting. My Platform Developer capstone. - [Drone manufacturer: Salesforce operations](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/drone-manufacturer-salesforce/): One Salesforce app for a mail-order company moving into drone manufacturing, covering projects, component stock and orders. Built in six weekly sprints. - [Where Amazon's mobile shopping falls short](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/amazon-service-quality-analysis-transforming-customer-experience-through-data-driven-insights/): A SERVQUAL gap analysis of Amazon's mobile shopping: what customers expect against what they get, across five touchpoints. - [Cancan: market entry South Africa → Mexico](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/cancan-wine-marketing-campaign-strategy-visual-revamp-from-south-africa-to-mexico/): An entry plan for a South African wine brand going into Mexico. The brand's executives graded the controls section 10/10 and the strategy 9.3/10. - [Mapping customer journeys](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/2024-03-10-customer-journey-mapping/): A research-based guide to mapping customer journeys well enough to attribute results to them. - [Studyportals: B2B campaigns](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/studyportals-social-media-email-marketing-transformation-b2b-data-driven-growth/): B2B content and email for a university-recruitment platform. LinkedIn engagement went up 17%, followers 28% and email open rates 20%. - [Branding & creative explorations](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/branding-creative-explorations/): Brand identities, packaging and print that I designed and mocked up end to end. - [Agency website: UX & identity](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/digital-agency-website-design-luxury-brand-ux-strategy-visual-identity/): UX and visual identity for a premium digital agency's website. ## Pages - [About](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/about/): background, experience, education, skills and certificates - [Work](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/portfolio/): all projects, filterable by area - [Contact](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/contact/): email, LinkedIn and a contact form ## Optional - [Full text of every case study](https://alex-constantinescu.netlify.app/llms-full.txt) - [GitHub](https://github.com/Meah01) - [Tableau Public](https://public.tableau.com/app/profile/alexandru.constantinescu/vizzes)
